What it does
Attendance and leave without a register or a biometric machine
A biometric machine only works for people who come to the office. Sales and service staff go straight to customers, so their attendance ends up on WhatsApp messages and trust. Here it is recorded on their phone, with the location, and it is in the report by the next morning.
Forgotten punch-outs closed for you
Anyone still punched in at night is punched out at 6:30 PM and the record is marked as a system punch-out, so you can tell it apart from a real one.
Absent or on leave, marked every night
Anyone who didn't punch in is marked absent, unless they have approved leave for the day, in which case they are marked on leave.
Leave with approvals
Staff apply for a half day, a full day or several days. Their department manager approves or rejects it, and both sides get an email and a phone notification.
Holidays, weekly offs and the sandwich rule
Set your holidays and weekly offs once. Turn on the sandwich rule if you use it, and with Sunday as the weekly off, leave from Friday to Monday is counted as 4 days instead of 3.
Reports you can export
Daily and date-range attendance with punch times, downloadable as CSV. Leave requests and a per-employee leave summary, filtered by department or leave type, downloadable to Excel.

Each person sees their attendance for the last five months, with every day marked on time, late or early against a 10 AM to 6 PM day.

What is an attendance management system?
It records when each employee starts and ends work, marks who is absent or on leave, and gives you a report for payroll. Meazurable WorkLogger does this from the employee's phone, with a GPS location saved at every punch, which suits teams who start their day at a customer site instead of the office.
How does GPS attendance work?
The employee taps punch in on their phone. The app saves the time, the GPS position and the street address for that spot. The same happens at punch out. Managers can open any punch on a map to see where it was made.
What is the sandwich leave rule?
Under a sandwich rule, weekly offs and holidays that fall between two leave days are counted as leave too. With Sunday as the weekly off, leave from Friday to Monday is charged as 4 days instead of 3, because Sunday sits between leave days. In WorkLogger the rule is off by default. When you turn it on, offs at the start or end of a leave request are still not counted.
Who approves leave?
By default, the managers of the employee's department. If the employee is a manager or an admin, or you prefer that admins approve everything, the request goes to the admins instead. A request that nobody approves before its first day lapses, and the employee is told.
Does it track leave balances?
Not yet. You set up your own leave types, and the leave summary report shows how many days each person has taken by type, which you can export to Excel and compare against your policy.
Does it do payroll?
No. Export the attendance and leave reports and use them in your payroll software or with your accountant.
How much does it cost?
